The Database
OnchainID matches wallet addresses to real-world identities by combining public web sources, social profiles, corporate and public records, and on-chain behavior. Each match returns a confidence-scored link to a person, company, email, or social account. Teams use it for compliance screening, fraud investigation, and counterparty diligence.
Mission
Crypto promised transparency, but a wallet address tells you nothing about who controls it. We built OnchainID to close that gap, turning public signals into clear, accountable identity. The result is a way for compliance teams, investigators, and businesses to act on who they are actually dealing with.

Founder
Tom Bontempo has spent more than 40 years in data, risk, and analytics, with senior leadership roles at Dun & Bradstreet, J.D. Power, and Profound Networks. His work centers on helping organizations understand who they are dealing with and act on it. He holds a graduate degree in marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
